Avila Beach is dog-friendly, but with some important rules depending on time and location. Main Beach (downtown Avila Beach) allows dogs before 10AM and after 5PM. Dogs are not permitted on the beach between 10AM – 5 PM. Dogs should be leashed and under control at all times. Olde Port Beach allows dogs all day. Often off-leash permitted under voice control. Fisherman’s Beach does not allow dogs at any time.
