We booked a room at the Avila Village Inn so that we could walk to the Avila Beach Resort venue for a Michael Franti Concert. The place had beautiful landscape and the front desk lobby had a beautiful oak staircase that was perfect for a photo op. Our room was AMAZING! Very romantic with a fireplace and our own private hot tub on our 2nd floor balcony. The walk to the venue was along the beautiful Bob Jones trail. The staff was excellent. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend the Avila Beach Inn.
The moment I walked in the door I feel in love with this place, the ambiance in the lobby and the customer service was "on point." As my night progressed I wanted to use the jetted tub in our Jr. King Suite however I couldn't get the tub to fill, front desk clerk "Hallie" came to assist however she wasn't successful so she asked if I wanted to move rooms. After a bit of hesitation I said yes... she instantly upgraded us to a King Suite, it didn't have a jetted tub however it had a deep soaking tub and a hot tub... I would highly recommend Avila Village Inn and I can't wait to return!
I stayed at the Avila Village Inn for 3 nights in June 2017. What a gem! The room was perfect - bed super comfy, hot tub on patio, and SUPER quiet! Staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. It's located on the beautiful Bob Jones Trail and they have bikes to use. It's an easy walk to the beach, about a mile and a half. Added bonus is the athletic club right next door offering pool, yoga, cardio, and a yummy little grille with great food! I highly recommend the Avila Village Inn, unless you absolutely have to be ON the beach. What a great stay!
During our lives we travel and recall certain people, places and things. My wife and I decided to take a trip to the California Central Coast for our 35th Wedding Anniversary stopping in Morro Bay, Cambria, and Avila Beach. When we arrived at the Avila Village Inn we were so happy to be amongst the most beautiful people, places, and things. Starting off with Front Office Mgr. Mindy Hunter who was very accommodating to our celebration.
Our suite was one of the most well appointed ones that we ever stayed in, complete with hot tub on the deck, bathrobes, and fireplaces in both the bedroom and the living room. Wow!!!!
Next was the fully facilitated Athletic Club, and the Woodstone Market Place which was truly Bon appétit to it's fullest.
This property also hosts a many different events with Weddings being one of the most popular. We also enjoyed the cool, relaxing tree studded walking/ bike trail. They even provide you with free bike rentals. We will without a doubt start planning a return visit.
This place is awesome!!! The minute we stepped into the lobby I was in another world. Chris, the General Manager was so helpful, friendly and suggested some places for us to have dinner. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine that was placed in our room. The room was very clean and the mini refrigerator was a plus. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom and shower were great. The continental breakfast was really good. Coffee was great. Don't know what else to say other than we can't wait to go back. We really loved it here. The employees were all helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Love, Love, Love this place.
