Can't wait to stay at AVI again!
I stumbled across this inn as I was looking for something different to do to bring in the New Year. The Avila Village Inn is a gem! I had never been to Avila Beach and it's definitely not my last visit. The AVI is a charming inn with superb ambiance - very comfortable and peaceful inside and out. Christopher, Nathan, and the ladies at the front desk display excellent and personable customer service. The Deluxe Room with hot tub on the balcony was an absolute treat, the room has a fireplace so it's very cozy, bed and bedding very comfortable, stylish and large bathroom with large shower. The Inn is located next to the Bob Jones Trail, a perfect trail for walking and greeting fellow walkers and bikers. The Inn has bikes for you to rent; located parallel to the Inn is the Avila Bay Athletic Club &Spa, within minutes you can walk over for a massage, use the gym, pool, sauna, etc. There is a deli / market located within the same area. Avila Village Inn is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I also appreciated the "lite breakfast" available each morning to start your day; there is plenty of seating area to catch up on reading or just enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled on this treasure, can't wait for my next visit.
So often, you check websites before you book a place, and see the pictures on the site, and then when you arrive, the place looks nothing like the photos, and you wonder how much they spent on the photographer to make it look desirable... Well, Avila Village Inn LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTOS. This is an unbelievably cute, rustic hotel that is secluded and quiet. The room was large and clean. the staff was helpful and kind. The spa clean and relaxing... I generally don't like to stay at the same place twice, but if i am ever back in Avila Beach -- I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. loved our long weekend...
This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this inn and I have to admit this is the absolute best inn for a romantic vacation. Both the inside and out are beautiful and extremely well kept. All the staff are beyond courteous and go above and beyond to ensure the best possible expereience. Thank you Avila Village Inn for being everything I could possibly hope for in a romantic getaway with my wife!
Best kept secret on the Central Coast
My husband and I had an outstanding visit to Avila Village Inn. The staff treated us like extended family, the Inn and the Athletic Club next door were top notch, and every detail of our room was perfect. Not a single thing I would change about every aspect of our experience. The only thing we regretted was not planning a longer stay, but we will definitely be back soon, and will add a few days on to our next visit.

Avila Village Inn
We've just come back home after three nights stay after July 4 celebration.
It was wonderful experience: the hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay, rooms were clean and beautiful. Beds were great and AC unit was functioning truly but almost silently. Other places we stayed before had very old fashioned and loud AC units, here it was very quite and effective.
Very friendly staff and we felt like at home.
Location can't be better, very close to the famous trail and everyday walk became our routine. Next to the hotel there is very nice recreation center with big and clean pool, plus tennis courts.
Tea, coffee and cookies are always fresh for us.
The place was previously highly recommended by our friends and now I would be confident to pass the word to my other friends.

Avila Village Inn
I want to thank all of the staff at the Avila Village Inn for our wonderful retreat last weekend. We have a new " favorite" place and cannot wait until our next visit. The service was impeccable and the rooms are beyond description. We are excited thinking about our next trip out to your destination and I'm going to try hard to make it a multiple day trip!
